Get Involved in Developing dEDH
Every new format of Magic has to start somewhere.​

I might think I'm onto something cool and amazing, but for a new idea like this to really take off, it's going to take a lot more than my own efforts. If you've tried out dEDH or just think it's an inspired concept and you'd like to get involved in its development, consider yourself invited. The "dEDH" format has no rules committee, no social media home (yet) and is just waiting for some aspiring EDH players and dungeon designers to jump in and make this happen.

My mind boggles at the quality of deck design and the artistic skill that I've already seen in the Magic community from looking at alters and at all the online content available out there on the internet. My own efforts are a good starting point, but I know we could have amazing dungeon mats and inspired dungeon decks ahead of us if this takes off.

I've created a blank version of my first dungeon playmat design for anyone interested in trying their hand at designing a dungeon, but not wanting to start from scratch.
If you have contributions you'd like to share, or if you'd like to get involved or help set up and maintain any social media spaces for dEDH, please contact me. I could imagine a small but active dEDH community with players creating awesome dungeon designs, innovative rule variations and engaging dungeon decks, but this site won't be the social media hub for any of that activity. We'll need more than just this site, and more than just me to make this fly.

I'm going to continue running my local game store's EDH league, I'll keep writing about EDH for CoolStuffInc.com and I'll keep playing EDH as often as I can. I'm going to try to introduce dEDH to my local LGS meta, but I have no idea if it'll catch on. I can definitely tell you that I'm not going to pivot to focusing my energy solely on dEDH, but I'll definitely work with anyone interested in this idea to help it grow.
